The Friends of the Wakulla County Public Library organization was chartered in 1976. Through fundraisers and donations the Friends have been able to relocate and enlarge library facilities, add thousands of books, videos, and audiobooks to the collection, and sponsor the Library’s annual Summer Reading Program. Without the support of the Friends, WCPL would not be the wonderful library it is today. Wakulla County Public Library is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Wakulla County Public Library
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
