Later fines? What late fines? Wakulla County Public Library is now fines free (mostly)! Print books, audiobooks, and DVDs do not.
Interlibrary Loan fines are $1.00 per day (this is stricter because when you check out an Interlibrary Loan you are checking out a book that doesn’t belong to our library).
Library of Things fines are $1.00 per day (due to the expense of most of the items).
Replacement Fees
We know that things happen. Toddlers find sharpies and treat library books like coloring books, puppies hide under your bed and eat items, DVDs get broken, books get left on top of cars or on airplanes, and coffee and other beverages get spilled. We aren’t mean about these things, because it happens to all of us. However, it is a part of the agreement that you signed in order to get a library card that you would happily pay a replacement price for anything that gets damaged while in your care.
Charges for lost or damaged items will be billed at the system price plus a $5.00 processing fee.
